"I’ve been a Registered Nurse and a Christian for over four decades. My husband and I have been actively involved in church work since our marriage. However, this training has provided me with a deeper understanding of the dying process than my nursing education and experience. It has also strengthened my faith and encouraged me to carefully examine the Bible’s teachings on the end of life."
- Patti, Death & Resurrection Doula & RN

An end-of-life doula is a non-medical practitioner trained to assist in the dying process. Through a holistic practice, doulas help families and communities care for someone who is dying.
Laurel lives in Charlottesville, VA. Many of her services are available remotely!

Laurel offers a vision of healing that is not the absence of pain, but the presence of Christ within it—equipping Christians to walk faithfully with the dying and their families while integrating theological depth with practical care.
